Meet Our Team:

Keeping our team small and experienced is a priority here at The Bike Mill. By doing so we can offer you better customer service and assure that you and your bike are taken care of by the same industry professionals every time you come in.

Rio Rose (Owner, Bicycle Technician, Sales)

Why quit your job and start a bike shop? Well because I am a little bit crazy and I love biking and always have. From building a franken bike out of my Dad's junk pile to purchasing my first real mountain bike, riding is in my blood. I wanted to share my knowledge and enthusiasm in a more legitimate setting. My intention was to offer a hub for the biking scene. A place to get your bike fixed, buy gear, and swap trail stories. The Bike Mill was born.

Rio Rose

I have been building trail and cultivating the bike scene in Lander since I moved here in 2003. I started "improving" cow trails and riding the user defined routes, created long before I arrived and have seen everything grow to become the amazing trails we have today. I started working with Lander Cycling Club in 2009 and together we have added many miles of new trail and turned many of the user defined trails into proper, legal trails following IMBA standards of sustainability. Biking is growing in Lander and I am here to help.

You can reach me by calling the shop or sending me an email at landerbikemill@gmail.com

The Lander Cycling Club, with which I hold the position of Forest Service Trails Coordinator, is making things happen. From building trail to organizing road and mountain bike events. Our relationships with the BLM and the Forest Service (USFS) have continued to grow and improve.

I am excited to share my passion and knowledge with you no matter what type of biking gets you excited. Come on down to the shop and let's talk about bikes.
