Meet Our Team:

Keeping our team small and experienced is a priority here at The Bike Mill. By doing so we can offer you better customer service and assure that you and your bike are taken care of by the same industry professionals every time you come in.

Rio Rose (Owner)

Why quit your job and start a bike shop? Well because I am a little bit crazy and I love biking and always have. From building a franken bike out of my Dad's junk pile to purchasing my first real mountain bike, riding is in my blood. I wanted to share my knowledge and enthusiasm in a more legitimate setting. I wanted to offer a hub for the biking scene. A place to get your bike fixed, buy gear, and swap trail stories. The Bike Mill was born.

My passion is not only for my love for riding and working on bikes but creating more opportunity for riding. I have been building trail and cultivating the bike scene in Lander since I moved here in 2003. I started "improving" cow trails and riding the user defined routes created long before I arrived and have seen everything grow to become the amazing trails we have today. I started working with the Lander Cycling Club in 2009 and we have turned many of the user defined trails into proper, legal trails following IMBA's standards of sustainability. Our relationships with the BLM and the Forest Service (USFS) have continued to grow and improve.  The Lander Cycling Club, with which I hold the position of Forrest Service Trails Coordinator, is making things happen. From building trail to organizing road and mountain bike races. Biking is growing in Lander and I am here to help.

I am excited to share my passion and knowledge with you no matter what type of biking gets you excited. Come on down to the shop and let's talk about bikes.
